MAGAZINE COVERS / AUGUST 2012

At this time of year, I’m guessing everyone is clinging on their favorite TV set-up boxes to have a little bit of self-indulgence watching Olympics London 2012. However, this might be a good substitute indeed as readers seem to be experiencing what so-called fashion fatigue. And, remember August and July are probably the stalest months of the years in fashion as it is full of Pre-Fall items.

Speaking of this month’s covers, I feel like the quality has been uplifted from last year, so to speak. There are more strike-to-pose editorials and up-to-date Fall/Winter clothes to be featured on front cover than any previous season. I am really looking forward to seeing more of September issues in coming weeks.

This month, I am really on drug for seeing the drop dead gorgeous Emma Stone fronting Vogue UK August issue donning police-like outfit with houndstooth silhouette by MaxMara. Don’t you feel the same?

Oh and by the way, I am also in love with how folks at Vogue Japan and Korea pull everything off together on their cover. Honestly, these are the best covers so far this year coming from Vogue Japan and Korea. Keep it up!
